Like always, how much is because of the co-author, who knows? I need to read more of Shan Serafin to reach a conclusion. On my Patterson roller-coaster ride, this is one of the highlights. I thought for a moment this book would go in that direction. In the movie they did this by accusing each other to create reasonable doubt.
The plot of the movie was two women were both suspects in a murder, and they both evade arrest. It reminded me of a movie I once watched, of which the name now escapes me. The plot seemed well planned, the characters were convincing and the mystery wasn't bad at all. It unraveled a little towards the end, but for the most part everything was spot on. You feel like you're trying to catch your breath when you read this. I really liked the twists and the fast pace. It still could have been a little better, maybe a little tighter, but when I weigh up the pros and cons, I still only end up with a minor con.įor that, I have to rate this higher and give it five stars this time.
It's strange how this time the ending felt more complete. I enjoyed this even more the second time, and I even enjoyed the ending more. I wanted to read this again, and when I was the library a couple of weeks ago it was there.
